If you want you can probably pick up a female for $125, well im Canada so your price will be more like $80 american give or take a few. Personally I would have bought a normal female at first then bought the %100 because males can breed in much less time (6 months).

6 Months? Ummm no. 18 months is when a BCI male becomes fertile.

And not that is gospel, but breedeing season, is pretty much over with. Should have been looking in early fall. And breeding a 100% het to a normal female wont do much other than make 50% possible hets.

I read on a forum that somone was breeding a 1/2 year old male to a large female. I dont remember where I saw it though. I know that if you breed a 100% het to a normal female you will get 50% het. But, if your low on cash you keep all the females that came from the clutch (50%'s) and sell the males. Grow the 50% females and breed them back to the dad and you have a chance you will get an albino. Take all the 50% female clutches and sell them (because there normal). An albino may not pop up for 10 yrs in the breeding, it could happen on ur first try or ur 8th. But I bet on your first breeding when you sell the males you probably will get enough to afford an Albino but if you cant just wait till the next year and you will then. I would keep my normal looking stock for about 8 yrs and then sell them all. On the Second year I would buy an Albino female then wait another year and buy an albino male. Then on the third year I would buy 1.3 salmons. Sell all my normal looking stock. Buy some more albinos and salmons. Wait a couple more years. Buy some Blood Boas and then go from there.
