Growing like little weeds. Some pics of the holdbacks

These are some of the babies that I am keeping for a while to see how their color develops. I have still not gotten the pinks to come through on the pics the way they look in real life, but it is getting closer. There is one the has really red saddles and a great tail on the waterbowl. Another with really dark background color on top and hot pink on it's sides and another with red irredesent saddles that look like they are on fire and lots of pink down the sides. There are a couple others that are almost all pink from heat to tail, but they whow up white and gray in the pics. I have got to get a better camera.

Thought I might suggest this for taking the pics. I've noticed with my own that sometimes the snake 'reflects' the surface or background colors with it's body. Try placing one on a white surface/background and see what happens. Also - if you have a true-color light that will help. Most lights have a 'yellow' feel that you can't really see until taking a pic. This is something I also struggle with. Hmmm . . . now that I think about it I do have a small Ott lamp - wonder how Shiva would look under it? Hmmmm . . . something to play with after giving her another day or two for digesting. BTW - might be interested in one of your female babies. Will you be selling any of them here?

I am going to feed them once more and then they will be ready to go out. Weather permiting that is. I WILL NOT send them if there is any chance at all of them hitting bad weather on the way. But they will be up for sale here and on my site in the next week or so. I still have to sex them all too.

You have some really great looking snakes. I bet you are very happy I would be. But I would have trouble selling them. i would be worried that they would go to bad homes. I would end up keeping at least two of them.
