Our (ann0306 and me) boa finally pooped!! We were getting worried, had been almost two months. :-0 but we've been soaking him the past few days and today he stunk it up. I'm so happy,,,,so nothing earth shattering I know but for all of you who answered my questions as we began to worry, thanks!

thanks! It was really starting to worry me cause I'd never had a snake do that,,,,course now my wife is wondering if soaking in a closed container will work on our 3 year old when he gets that way!  |

Mineral oil can be used as a laxative.
I had another thought on this. Some vets recommend using a strike anywhere match for constipated dogs. This may sound odd, but take an unlit match and ummm, insert the match head in rectum. 2 minutes later you have a log jam free mut. Would this work for snakes too? Anyone heard of this?
