vision cages
I was just wondering if anyone uses vision cages i found a cage thats 54" W x 36" D x 18" H for 285$ through LLLreptile.com thanks for the input

well i guess no one here uses vision cages lol is there a reason for that?

yea probably the price, if your good a diy and got some spare time, you could build one say out of mdf and then vaneer it for 1/4 of the price. i built 6ft by 2.5ft 3 ft viv with 2 6mm glass doors on plastic runners rountered in to the mdf and a couple of stailess steel vents then vaneered it with black ash for £70 whats that $110-$120 and its by far alot stronger and looks just as good if not beter than any ive seen on the market and took me less than a weekend to build.

We have a couple of Visions here... they are ok for low humidity species, but anything needing 50% or more they don't do well at all. We really prefer the Boaphiles.

i like the boaphiles too but they dont have anywhere for a light do they? and i would be getting the cage for my BCI and about building the tank i did that with one of my tanks it turned out great but i also used my dads tools and he moved so i dont really have any tools for that  if u guys/girls have any plans for building a boa tank could u post them or send them to my email sinner_209 @yahoo.com thanks for the info

Don't need a light with Boaphiles if you have ambient light in the room they are in. Or, if you want a light just to display the snake Mr. Ronne can install a flourescent fixture in it.
