Woohoo!
I am excited. Got two new ones coming in on wednesday. Both are from Gray over at
www.allboas.com. He is a great guy. I highly reccomend him.
First is a 2001 female
EBV Red group. She has kept her great color and hasnt muddied up thus far. I plan on putting her into a nice
hypo project next year.
Second is a 2004 female Harlequin. If you are unfamiliar with harlequins, they are similiar to jungles. But they have more varied pattern abberancies. They can be striped, lateral striped, jungle like patterned, reduced pattern ... etc. Very cool stuff. In addition to that they are loaded with color. And this color was not derived through selective breeding like that of pastels. They are said to increase/keep color like pastels with every shed. In addition to that the
morph passes dominantly, or to all offspring. Cant ask for much more in a boa
morph. I got the highest colored of the whole litter.
Here are a few pics from Gray. I will get some arrival shots of my own when they get here on wednesday. I believe the harlequin shots were taken inside with a flash (washes out color)... so you can imagine even more color than that.
Here is the 2001
EBV Red Group Female (these pictures were taken over a year ago so im sure she has obviously gotten bigger and changed some):
And here is the 2004 Harlequin Female. Born in June.
