crush; sorry bout the lack of responses. i hadn't seen your original post until now. boas shedding only every 6mos. BOGUS! depends on feeding schedule, prey size, growth rateand age of your snake etc. all my snakes are different including my 40", 1yr? old boa. he sheds once a month give or take. i wouldn't worry. raise the humidity a little and expect a shed in about a week

Sorry bud, but what did you expect 20 answers in one day?
Alot of people do not own boas that are 8 1/2 feet long and 49 pounds, so just be patient with your posts and im sure someone will get to them.
And just to let you know, i have a 4 year old female that weighs approx 30 pounds and is 7 1/2 feet long, and she still sheds at least once every couple months. So dont be at all surprised if you still see them shed this often.

all I can say is... your welcome.
There is nothing wrong with bumping a thread every now and again to keep it from falling far down in the list. Sure beats being really rude and ticking off all the people that can help you.
Also, not everyone can sit on the board 24/7, sometimes people are busy, it may take a day or two, if the next day your thread has nothing, bump it, post a reply to it, dont get rude.
