The post ovulation shed has come
I went out of town for a week right after it happened so I am just posting about it now. It happened on Sept. 14th which puts her due date at right around new years. It would be a really happy new years with some fresh babies crawling around. It is kind of a boring wait though since she just stays under the bedding all the time. Every once in a while I see her looking out of her cage and that is about it. I have had her out once since breeding to check out her health and that was weeks ago. So now it is just a matter of time and patience.

She is a 7.5 year old BCI. The male is a pastel and she has nice red and pink hues so I am looking forward to some pretty babies. Mostly I just want them to be healthy though. The mother has a really beautiful striped tial, but I am not looking for any stripers out of this clutch.
