I might be getting a BCI tuesday and i have a 40*25*20 tank and was wondering if there was any truth about a tank being to large for a baby BCI to feel secure and cause stress? to me this makes no sence at all because they are born in jungles where theres more space then in a tank! i have plenty of fake plants and hide spots for the little guy to feel at home any thoughts about this would be great! Thanks

ya, u are right, born in jungle, but not champaign. so your furnitures are good.So, just give him more hiding spots and water too( 2 is good, 3 will be better, spread them on hot side and cool side/ hot, middle cool side). youe fake plants will be helpful,too.

i like cages that are smaller for smaller snakes. that cage isn't all that small for a bci, though. where i would hesitate to put a baby milksnake in your enclosure, i may a bci.

thanks for the imput i couldnt put a baby milk snake in there cause the hardware cloth is big enough for one of those little guys to get through it lol
