Question about food size
I am just curious as to how big a rat an adult male, healthy columbian bci will eat at feeding time. I know males are shorter and skinnier. I would assume that females can eat a rabbit if not a colossal rat. I just want to see if i would have to order from rodent pro for food if i got one. I don't think the rodent breeder i know sells anything over large rats. Shipping on rodentpro is a killer.

If need be you can also feed two large rats instead of a colossal. Just would end up costing you more in the long run.

Yeah i had considered that but i didn't want to feed two items every feeding time. Seemed like it would be alittle too much work for the digestive system.

Good to see you're concerned! One appropriate sized prey item is always preferable, so yes go through rodentpro.com if you can. I only made the suggestion in case it was feasible for you to go through rodentpro. I'm in a situation where going through rodentpro would actually cost me more in the long run.
