snake in the grass.... ha yeah.. is that safe?

i have let my prob about 8 month old redtail outside in the grass a few time.. but, just wondering if thats safe, can they get mites or anything from somthing like that?.......... Thanks.

it's very unlikely that it would get mites from letting it out on the front lawn. If you are letting it explore a bit near woods or a forest, I'd worry a little. Just try to keep it from eating any field mice or rodents; in the wild they often have parasites.

your snake will be fine.
the probability of it getting mites from crawling aroundyour grass is next to none.
Unless of course you have lots of wild snakes around.
