Cardinal Sin...
Well...Probably not really a sin. But it should be for any animal to be this pretty. This one turned out a little grainy but considering the low light and how far away this bird was, not too bad plus I kinda like the grainy look sometimes. It gives it a brush stroke artsy effect sorta. It looked like a dot without looking through the camera. I couldn't even tell it was a bird LOL.

great pic. i see these birds in my yard almost everyday, but rarely even notice how beautiful they really are.

300mm lens with a 2x teleconverter. the camera already bumps everything up x1.5 so it's a total of 900mm focal length. Nikon Digital SLRs rock for telephoto but you have to back way up for wide angle shots lol.

The cardinals finally returned to my yard this year, I haven't seen them in almost two years.
