Wow, what a beautiful bird. I like the shot from the front with the wings spread. You're lucky to be working with these animals.

Great looking owl!
Was that a frilled dragon in the cage in the background?

He is a little poop, isn't he! Magnificent animal nevertheless. The owls are my favorite clan of birds...I keep teasing my wife I want to get one! We have great-horns here in the Mojave Desert too. I've seen a female nesting with her chicks in a Joshua tree which was a pretty cool sight. Unfortunately I've only got slide photos of them. Thanks for sharing Kara!!!

Hi K,
Tiny is beautiful, and looks like he is with the right people.
I studied under a woman in my state (CT) who runs a raptor project. She is CT and Fed. liscensed etc.
beautiful animals.
We work together allot as many people call us for birds, and many call her for herp rehab, so we are always in contact. I must say I respect people who work with birds of prey. I have gotten close to a handfull, for cleaning, feeding, and surgery on a RT Hawk, and a bald eagle. But I must say, It would be much harder for me to deal with my surroundings if my house (property) was full of birds compared to herps.
So I appload the work you do.
lease keep me updated on Tiny. he is a beatuiful bird
