she is one of the sweetest conures ive seen. it is soo funny, if she flies down stairs, she lands on me, then decides shes gonna talk, only squaking. if someone tries to take her from me, she runs in circles around my head, from shoulder to shoulder. she is such a kick, and a beautiful bird

Great!! For those herpers out there with out feathered friends, I highly suggest it if you have the time for them. My birds are just as important to my life as my snakes. Avian friends RULE!!!

I would love to have a bird, just afraid my Rottwieler wouldn't. You should see him watch the fish in my 55 gal. He will bite at them and make the whole tank slosh with his nose.

Yea, it can be hard to with a playful Rotti!
I've been wanting to adopt a Doberman for a while, but I can't find one that is good with dogs and don't think birds are a squeakie toy.

hehe, I used to think the same way, so did my cat until she found out that "HEY! Those things have hard, sharp beaks!". She doesn't try to play with the smaller birds anymore lol. Occasionally her and Shasta (Umbrella Cockatoo) will horse around a little, but niether one really understands how to play with the other. So one of them usually either gets confused, frustrated, or bored after a while. I wouldn't say that they love each other, or even like each other. But they do tolerate each other enough to be curious occasionally. They are both good at not pushing the other too far. I like to think they have an understanding.
