he was an adoption. one day a guy came into our petshop, and told me he had 2 cockatoos, and they used to stay on his porch. well one day a racoon came in, and killed/ate bone heads mate, and bone watched all of this. out of stress, he started to pluck, lost an awful amount of weight, and wasnt the bird he used to be. the guy loved him soo much he couldnt stand to see him like that. so he wanted ME to keep him. begged with me not to sell him. so, i took him. at first, the bird would attack me, literally fly at me out of no where, and latch onto my face. months went by, i would feed him, and talk to him. wouldnt touch him. by the way, he fell in love with joe (faze)instantly, and it made me kinda jealous. i vowed that one day the darn bird would be mine. then slowly bone started to warm up to me. when he realized that i wasnt out to hurt him. we slowly cut down on his seed, cause thats all the guy fed him. we started feeding him fruits, and veggies, pasta. now the bird wont leave me alone. we play fetch, sleep together, go to the store together, take showers together, and share our dinner. when we got him he was completly bald. he plucked every last feather he could reach.. so, i guess you could say, he looks A LOT better now hes just like one of my children, i wouldnt know what to do if i didnt have him
