Raptors at wildlife center
Here are some raptors I work with at a wildlife center I volunteer at. Sorry only phone pics.
First here is a male Bald Eagle from Alaska with one wing. I don't why he has one wing or how it got from Alaska to New Jersey but he is a lot of fun to work with.

Here is a young female Bald Eagle.

Here are three Red Tail Hawks. The one to the left is a female that cannot be released into the wild so we use here as a surrogate. The other two are young hawks that fell out of the nest. They are going to be released so we put them with the female so they can learn to be hawks and not humans.

I hope you enjoy the pics and I will get more up when I get the chance. We have a lot more animals and I will bring my slr when I got the time to take good pics.

Great pics! I love the red-tail hawks, and who doesn't love a Bald Eagle!

Thanks but it's not as fun as it appears. Most of the the time you are either cleaning up poop (raccoons are the worst) or getting mauled by a squirrel. (they are not that cute when they are attached to you face) It is definitely something you have to do sometime in your life if you love animals though. There is no greater experience than having to wear a hockey helmet to clean a red shouldered hawk's cage because the last time you where in his cage he tried to rip your face off. If you ever have the chance I strongly recommend doing it and I promise you that you will not regret it.
