Re: Bird pics
Great shots man! Wood ducks are my all-time favorite bird ever! I actually have a mounted one on the mantle at the lakehouse on Sam Rayburn in East Texas. There's tons of 'em year round up there.

Re: Bird pics
where i live now we have a small creek running through the back yard. of course i immediately started feeding the ducks and prayed that geese would come ( i like geese almost as much as snakes) well the mallard and the duck (boyfriend and girlfriend) come to my sliding glass door in the morning if i am not out there feeding them. it is the funniest thing ever cause i will look out the sliding door and they will bith be standing there, beaks almost touching the glass and they have their necks stretched way out looking in my window. i have a large squirrel and 2 very small babies i feed also. the large squirrel will take a ritz cracker with peanut butter on it out of my hand. the 2 babies get really close but they have not ate out of my hand.

Re: Bird pics
Great pics, John. That king is fantastic. You must live way up north to see Bald Eagles this time of the year. We usually get them in late fall and early winter. I went out a few days ago and saw a few Turkey Vultures, Red Tails, and Ospreys. Birds of prey never cease to amaze me. Thanks for sharing.
