This is for the birds!!!
I am surprised (maybe?) that this forum is so inactive. I mean, birds are SO fascinating, right?
But this is not about birds at all - not really.
This is about my son Sean, and how long he leaves his jeans hanging on the clothesline without taking them inside.
Watch this thread for some incredible photographs of the consequences of his laziness.
Pictures coming.....

Re: This is for the birds!!!
Tammy, when will you ever learn?
Where have all the bird folks gone?
Long time passing.
Where have all the bird folks gone?
Long time ago.
Where have all the bird folks gone?
Gone to boas, every one.
Oh when will they ever learn?
Oh when will they re-tern?
OK. I know what I am going to do.

Re: This is for the birds!!!
Yah mon.....no problem mon.
Well, I should be getting the batteries for the camera tonight. After torrential rain came down (I had to brave the elements, thunder and lightning, and make a protective cover for the nest out of a plastic trash bag!) I was relieved to see that the nest is still there in the jeans pocket, and the little bird (a Jamaican "Grass Quit") is in it, hopefully sitting on her eggs by this time...thanks to my bravery and dedication....
You are SO patient...."what are you doing to us", indeed???

Re: This is for the birds!!!
Well, I got tired of waiting. So I rented the Alfred Hitchcock movie "The Birds". It really filled the need. LOL

Re: This is for the birds!!!
You have got to be kidding me. With Tippi Hedren???? You know, that was a hilarious movie!!! But the first time I saw it in a movie theatre when I was young, I actually found it scary and had nightmares about it.
The pictures are COMING SOON to your neighbourhood!!! Promise.

Re: This is for the birds!!!
They will be here by this weekend....Saturday evening for sure.
I hope the mother bird will not get too upset with me. I mean, she can't have her cake and eat it too, right??? Most people would have cleared the stupid bird nest out of their good jeans pocket and taken their jeans off the line, right??? So what's a little photoshoot going to hurt?

I will wait for pictures of baby birds. I like baby birds.
That is, I think that's what you are going to post pictures of.

So...how long do you have to leave jeans on the line for birds to nest in them?
