He's awesome! I love Cockatiels, they are so social and have so much hilarious personality. Great little parrots.

Thanks! He's a little shy about coming out of the cage through his "doors" but if I take the top of it off he's incredibly happy. Little turd.
He sees the snakes sometimes and his crest goes STRAIGHT up and he starts to whistle at them it's cute!

Re: My new little brat :D
very cute peach faced. My friend has one and she even takes it into the shower with her. If you plan to have his wings clipped, make sure to check out the place beforehand. My friend almost lost hers due to a bad clip. We had one become deformed due to a bad clip.

I'm always careful with wing clippings. I'm always sure to clip a little less than what is "normal". I want him to be able to glide but not actually fly up up and away.

He's under 6 months old so he's just starting to get his color in, and the lady I got him from checked his "pelvis" for bumps. As far as I know, with baby 'tiels to visually check their sex it's safer to wait till they have their adult color in. More of a yellow face = male though, from what I understand.
What's your input, you're thinking he's a she?

This one is surprisingly quiet. He grinds his beak and will give a soft coo noise from time to time. The only time I have ever heard him actually get excited is when I leave the room and don't take him, he'll give a little tweet and as long as I talk to him, he stops.
It all depends on the bird. some you can get that are for the most part quiet. Female cockatiels tends to be very shy and quiet.
