One of these things is not like the other....
Okay a few months ago it was breeding season around my place for birds of all kinds.I had a female turkey sitting on a clutch of eggs trying to bring the new generation into this world. Now I have some ducks as well one of which would lay eggs everywhere and not sit on them. One day this duck is walking along and drops an egg right there but just keeps on trucking. My brother walks over seeing this and picks the egg up and promptly walks over lifts up our female turkey and deposits this lone duck egg under the mama turkey. Well a few weeks later out pops a baby duck along with my turkeys. Now hes getting to be a big guy but he is absolutely inseparable from the turkeys and spends his entire day foraging with them and could care less about being a duck,in his mind hes a turkey. You can see the mama turkey tries to show him how to do things and its just the cutest thing!

Talk about the Ugly Duckling Story, I think some mothers can see past the differences in other animals.
This would be a great insperation to see what other birds would do, Like a blue jay with a cardnail, or other combo's.
Great story and good luck with them

One of those things? Since when are goats considered turkeys....?
Just joshin'. Very cute duck! I love ducks and turkeys. Not only do they taste great, but they make for some very cuddly pets.

I did too! I couldn't figure out if you meant the duck or the goat until after I actually read your post.
