Conure Folks
Anyone have much experience with Conures? Specifically Duskys? GF is having problems with the Duskys at her work...they just lost another one today. Regurg problems while handfeeding.

Re: Conure Folks
The only experience I have with conures is my Lesser Patagonian...
I would take the birds to the vet, obviously its illness from something.

Re: Conure Folks
Who is handfeeding the birds? Do they know what they're doing? It's very easy to hand feed a baby bird the wrong way, particularly if you try to rush the job...are they regurging during the feeding, and then just keeling over? Or later?

Re: Conure Folks
Not sure, exactly. GF is partially responsible for it, and is certainly the most competant at it. They have had a problem with their baby birds, specifically the Dusky Conures. She was vague when she asked me to look up info so I'm kind of at a loss. I guess she wanted to know if Duskys were known to be tough to handfeed and had a chronic regurge problem. I take it that they don't.

Re: Conure Folks
hmmm honestly, I'd say vet time. I don't know what the issue could be, my knowledge of birds is severely limited.
