I just read a great book about parrot behaviors, A Guide To a Well Behaved Parrot by Mattie Sue Athan (One of the few private bird behavior consultants in the US). The book talks about everything from why parrots act the way they do, to earning the trust of that routy screaming bird. It does not talk much about actual care, the basis of the book is more focused on creating and maintaining a great relationship with your parrot. It's a great book, I believe all bird owners should read. -Juggalo
