Birds of prey!
Basically what it says talk about birds of prey and state your favorite one.
Mine is the Peregrin Falcon! Although it is cool looking it will still mess its prey up!

Re: Birds of prey!
Do carrion-eaters count?
I love vultures, condors, and buzzards. Any kind, doesn't matter. ^.^

Re: Birds of prey!
Golden eagles, and those kingfisher things that hover until they see a fish then dive INTO the water to get it. (Saw 'em on a trip to NC)

Re: Birds of prey!
Gorgeous..I love birds, period. I got some great pics of young vultures at the park when we were in New Braunfels Texas.
Pretty cool looking the way they just sorta chilled out waiting for something to happen..lol

Re: Birds of prey!
I have had the privilege of working with these birds off-and-on for a long time. If I had a favourite it would probably be a Harris hawk, though I have a soft-spot for screech owls too.. There's a cell-phone tower behind my house that the Peregrines use each winter.. they abuse the sparrows and Inca doves thatt use my feeder.. and will take (dead) mice from a sling-shot!
.
Here's a Barn owl that I had to raise and release.. photo is in my rat-room!
.
Neat thread.
