Last weekend I had the pleasure of spending time with Barry (ConstrictorBO) and going with him to the Apple Festival where he and his fellow wildlife rehabbers were putting on a raptor show....They are a great group of people and are doing wonderful work with their animals. Unfortunatly, not all can be released due to serious injurys...I took a lot of photos and can't post them all so I chose 10 and will split it up into 2 posts so they won't take forever loading.

This first pic is of Barry and Donna(Yay, Barry does have a social life!) and Hannah the great horned owl that Barry has been working with.


LOL...this lil praying mantis showed up and decided to be sociable hopping from person to person..he was not shy at all


It got really hot so the birds had to be misted to stay cool



I'll post 5 more on a different thread....check em out!

Talkin about hot rocks.. That rock got hot for sure. It is peeling now.

That mantis jumped on several people and believe it or not... not a one of them freaked out.
