>>ahhhh I love the double yellowheads...brings back childhood memories of the one I had, loved and lost. My dad recruited a nurse into the airforce in the early 70s and she went overseas. SHe had the bird and didn't know what to do with it so she gave it to Dad and he brought him home and turned him over to us kids. We kept his wings clipped and were fairly careless about taking him outside...I even went trick or treating as a pirate with him on my shoulder. We got too relaxed with him outside. Little did we know he was patiently waiting for his wings to grow out so he could fly off...and fly off he did....I walked outside one day with him and the garbagetruck was outside and the guys were banging metal garbage cans against the truck and spooked him...He took off and never came back. If I'm not mistaken that was the last time my sisters ever beat me up.
Oh god, that's horrible! I'm sorry to hear that, they're like family!!! She's like a child to me, my other three year old <G>....
And Silver, I'll take that Blue Front in a heart beat lady! Love those guys, excellent talkers!
