My gf's parents have one and I have plenty of scars on my fingers that remind me of him everyday. They are cute, but pack quite the little bite......of course her's is pshycotic so that might explan the mood swings..

Is she a rescue? I had a Green Cheek Conure that was my pal for a long time when i was a little fella. Birds are cool but high matience and demand alot of attention. If i get anything furry it'll be a dog for sure.

She was a rescue... I was called one day for an emergency petsitting job at work. I was reluctant because they were not a client and no one knew them. I decided against my better judgement to say yes. When they came to drop the key off I felt easier because it was a young mother and very young daughter. After their return, I told them that she was a very good girl and said if she ever needed a home for her to give me a call.
I didn't like that she was in a very, very small cage. And she was not happy in it.
The woman called me the next day and asked me to take her. She started plucking/mutilating her feathers becasue they didn't have time for her. So I of coarse took her.
