Woot, I know I've posted my pics before in the mammal forum, but since we have a bird forum now...
He was just a little barely feathered goober when I got him still on hand feedings every four hours:
Now he's a big feathered goober:

When Megan moved to Georgia, she brought 3 birds, a Meyers Parrot, a Jenday Conure and a cockateil. Belue (the family pet Blue and gold Macaw) stayed with her parents. I didn't think she really missed him much till we ran into one at Petsmart that looked just like Belue...she got them to let her hold him...and now it is obvious that she really misses him....they are such beautiful birds. For years I prefered the Scarlets, and still think they are really pretty but now I think I like the blue and golds the best. I dunno...I'm torn. Your's is really pretty....good to get em young like that and bring em up right.

beautiful rav! ive seen them before and ive always wanted a blue and gold, but if they are anything like my cockatoo that is now chewing up my hair brush..lol they are a handuful. but if i were to get one id get one as a baby also. a lot less problems in the long run. im more afraid of the bite though, i know they can tear ya up if they want. ive been attacked one too many times by my lesser sulfer..which now loves me to death. birds are such great creatures, arent they?
