OK, it is bad enough looking at all these beautiful reptiles you all post here, but now I have to be tempted by these gorgeous birds too? And read bird stories?

Don't y'all know my weakness for our feathered friends is soo extreme that if I do not have my field guide and monocular along with me on road trips I am one pouty beeyatch?

Ahhh, I should embrace the sweet pain of it all.....

In the words of the Immortal (Immoral) Doc Holliday..."I'm afraid the strain was more than he could beahr"

J/K - HAHA....I am truly looking forward to this forum growing, and seeing everyone's lovelies.

Next purchase....bird or boa; bird or boa; bird or boa; Somebody gimme a quarter to toss!

NOOOO NO CROWS!!!!! LOL

For those of you who don't know the inside crow joke:

This past Spring, Brian (BWSmith) and I drove down to South Georgia on a herping trip...With the aid of Brian's GPS we managed to navigate through about 560 miles of back roads, mostly dirt and found some great looking herp sites...we found a couple of frogs and lizards but in the 15+ hours we spent flipping tin, rocks, refridgerators, logs etc...the only snakes we found were roadkill black ratsnakes. THEN right when the sun was almost down and we were hot and tired and ready to head home...a @#$%^^%$ crow flew out of a peanut field right over our heads carrying a squirming black ratsnake...we were furious.

Allright, no crows, and none of those nasty starlings either....nullthey are on my permanent poop list...

How about a nice fall morning, a bit of a nip in the air and grap the gear and head out....

Oh, and stop by Waffle House on the way for some victuals

So what did you end up getting Girl?!?! Feathers or scales?

The crow probably would have been a heck of a lot more mad at you guys than you were at him if he had searched all day for his food and saw you guys with the only snake in sight
