Hi, i'm new to lizards. I've got a couple bearded dragons from lllreptile.com About 6in. long from snout to tail. I got a sandfire x gold, and a normal. The sandfire x gold is a great eater and very fat, the normal barely ate 3 mealworms for me a couple days ago, after not eating for a little over a week. Am I feeding the sandfire x gold too much? Or the normal too little? The normal looks a little fat now, I guess its been drinking the water. I don't want to lose the bearded. Any info on feeding or any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Steve

Welcome aboard!
And can you tell us a lil bit more about your set ups?
Temps, humids, lighting etc?
All the info you can will make it a lot easier to help figure it out. Thanks

I've been told by my buddy Rich, he breeds them allot. That some Beardies when young wont drink from a waterbowl. They are attracted to moving water. Mine still holds out to be misted with a spray bottle. make sure your temps are WAY up there for them too. At least 100 degree basking spot, preferably 105-110. The one is probably not eating as much because it is dehydrated. Try misting.

The 'normal' also might be intimidated if the Sandfire X is more dominant. At that age they're starting to establish a pecking order, even amongst just two lizards. You may have to consider putting them in separate enclosures at some point. The dominant one may have established the 'hot spot' in the enclosure as his own, and the other doesn't get as much time there?
I assume they've poohed for you? Any particularly smelly feces?
