Messy Beardie
Is everyone's beardie as messy as mine? When he poops and I'm not there.. He seems to take pleasure in running through it, spreading it on the walls, ALL over the floor (He's on paper towel atm cause of mites which seem to be all gone now) POOP EVERYWHERE. On him especially. I seem to have to bathe after he poops because it's ALL over his tail and feet. I use a very soft bristled tooth brush to gently scrub away the chunks of poo. How do I maintain so much poop? Would play sand be easier? He's over a year old and quite large.

Re: Messy Beardie
u could use play sand, but i wouldnt recommend it. i use slate and have no problems at all. spike never runs thru his poo. hector may be because he is stressed, or he is trying to give u a hard time

Re: Messy Beardie
I swear he's doing it cause he doesn't like me. I'm also only using Paper towel cause he's in a temporary enclosure due to mites.

Re: Messy Beardie
Yeah, mine doesn't do that either. He is about 3 1/2 years old. I use that green carpet stuff. I used to use play sand, never really had problems with it, but just didn't like cleaning it. It's heavy and messy.
