I feel so bad. I sold three out of my four baby beardeds on Sunday. I decided to keep the one that looked closely to "Mom". (Since I lost her)
Now the little guy went on a hunger strike for a day. Then, I get home tonight and he wouldn't eat from my hand. He has been hand feeding since 2 weeks old. Little pigs! I think he missed his siblings. Poor little guy.

I am sorry to hear of your losses. Whereas I am not that knowledgeable in BD's, it does sound like to me that me is telling you that he is angry at you. Will he eat without hand feeding? If so, then he probably is mad at you. Good Luck!!

If anything, he/she should be thriving with the lack of other competitors/beardies and new found space.

Whereas beardies are a social type lizard [ to a degree that is] , it could most likely be that he is a bit depressed with the others gone. Give him some time and he should come around though. He has no health issues going on previous to the others being sold right ?

No, no health issues. The babies were hatched by me, so parasite free.
He is totally mad at me. He will eat after I leave it in his cage and walk away. Tonight I was walking by his cage and caught him "waving" at me.
So, I think that he is unsure of himself and what's going on right now. But believe it or not when I got home tonight he looked like he grew!
Thanks!
Kim

lol. Are you really thinking about getting him a friend or just leaving the door open to getting another beardie..
It's good to hear the little one is coming around.
