i trained him!!!
as far as reptiles go anyway. i trained spike to eat his worms out of a little dish..i got tired of sitting in front of his tank waiting for him to eat out of my hand..in not even a week he learned that a small red dish means worms..he sees me take the dish out and then put it back in and without hesitation he darts over to it and eats. im so proud of him

Re: i trained him!!!
Can Beardies see colors? If they can, it would make sense if he ate out of a red dish quickly...red is a color which makes people hungry...
...that might be a cool experiment to try and figure out of the color of the dish has anything to do with it.

Re: i trained him!!!
Maybe you should try to put two bowls in there: one thats red (a food color) and one that's blue (a non-food color) and see what happens. Put just one mealworm in each bowl and see which one he goes for first.
But I have a feeling, being a beardie, he will eventually eat both.

Re: i trained him!!!
I think we really need to see pictures of that.
I think you should now work on training him to do his dishes after he eats. lol
