Ques about Parasites

The breeder just called to check on Buddy and Pumpkin..He said he lost a couple of babies from this parasite out break..I asked him if any of it was airborne, and he said the ciocidia is..The beardies are not in the same room as my snakes, but thier rooms are across from each other..Do I have to worry? He also said that some ppl think its good for snakes to have cocidia b/c it aids in digestion...what do ya think????

All beardies have some amount of coccidia in their system, but when they get sick or stressed, those levels rise and become a serious problem. Get a stool sample and take it to the vet, he will be able to tell you if your beardie has any type of parasites, and will give you the proper treatment. Just make sure that you go to a vet that knows about reps. Alot of vets that don't treat reptiles will prescribe completely wrong medicines for your reptile.
