Lori, i wouldn't say he's sandfire....atleast not 'pure' sandfire.
looks more like a sandfire yellow, or gold to me.
either way, he's a good lookin beardie. congrats on the new addition.

YEAH? His colors are not what they had been like when I took the pic. He was traveling and not under the "lights" for a few days and also the flash did a job on his pic and coloring too. Once he's been under the "l;ights" for awhile I'll grab new pics and ya can give me a better assessment of what ya think he is then

okay....what did william say that was so rude...?
Why did everyone just jump on the guy......?
he was asking a question.............
if I asked the same question....would you all jump on me...?
if Lori gets a new snake every time she went to the pet store...
well hey.........I wish she would live with me....that way my whole house would be filled up with little fun critters.
anyway...there was no need to jump on william..
THOSE WHO DID ARE THE RUDE ONES

Ritchie.. It was a statement he made in another post. I cant remember right off which one but he deserves what he is getting. Actually, I think these others are taking it kinda easy on the guy from what he said in the other post.

Umm>haha William.. No actually it's more like this...
I have quite a few reptiles that I have obtained through REPTILE RESCUE for one thing. These reptiles come to me from many different avenues..ie.. drop offs at pet stores, reptile shops that people who owned them hadn't a clue on exactly how to take care of them..or they no longer gave a #$%^$%^$%^$%^&...or even better yet..they GREW BORED OF THEM OR THE REPTILE JUST GOT TOO BIG FOR THEM TO HANDLE AND THEY WERE AFRAID OF THEM. Sound familiar at all to you ? Still others may have been confiscated by such entities as an SPCA or local animal officer. Other times the animals have health problems..usually due to an owners neglect in their care. I could go on and on with this list , BUT if you don't get it by now..there is no hope for you .....
YES I do purchase some of my reptiles from such places as reptile style pet stores. I do not always come home with one every time I go to a pet store. Yet I do usually come home with some from a visit that are rescues. What I do get just about every time I visit a pet store is a dang headache..never fails that there is someone there that I run into that either has a reptile or is looking to buy one and hasn't the first clue exactly what it is they are looking to buy, let alone what the proper care of it would be even. This sound familiar too maybe ?
OR the headache comes from banging the head while trying to explain to some store personel that " No Iguanas are not a great first pet and YES they do have teeth and heatrocks are an accident waiting to happen when used with a reptile.
MAYBE one day you also will be as responsible as I am with the decision to keep reptiles and be able to keep reptiles in a responsible manner as I do. IF your lucky you may even be able to get the chance to keep and enjoy them in the great amount of numbers that I do. Who knows..maybe there is still some hope for you yet !
BTW.. This beardie, as well as others I have. were purchased by myself....in a responsible manner They also receive the proper care that they need in all aspects of their husbandry...and shall continue to do so for the term of their longevity too.
Ritchie....This William has made some astounding posts on RTB that can be filed in the archives under such things as..irritating, irresponsible, I don't give a #$%^$%^$%^$%^&..so what if it's a living thing, and so on and so on. Not only that but I have received multiple requests from members who have requested that he be banned from the site also for the things he says in his posts too. take a look at his posts, they speak for themselves.

Ummm Lori.... lets not get our hopes up here. I know we wish for the best in people but I think we're in over our heads on this one. Hopefully his parents will see how immature and irresponsible he is and NOT get him any kind of pet whatsoever.
William.. Are you really this ignorant? Or do you just like to spout off at the mouth like so many other people in this world.
Please do us all a favor and GROW UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OOOOO i c..... Just so you guys know I'm not getting a boa. It has nothing to do with what you guys said though. Because I don't think moving it would really matter to it. Think about it this way-- "LoriImaGoddess" gets a new dragon and brings it home.... Can anyone explain to me how that is different than what I was going to do?????
Just so you know im getting a baby bearded dragon and am never coming back here. What all of you all say really doesn't matter to me. And im keeping the #$%^$%^$%^$%^& thing till it dies too. just so you know......

What I mean is that lori brings a beardie home and changes it's environment completely and doesn't think any thing of it...... And how is that different than what I was going to do???? hmmmmm??? anyone have an answer???
By the way you keep on talking about how I am going to kill the thing and not provide for it the right way. That is totally wrong. If and when I buy a beardie I will provide with it the best I can and will take care of it and never kill it. Kill it? that's sick......
