My little brother finally allowed me to take his beardie home with me. He bought it in Oct as a baby and honestly i don't think it has grown much at all since. Rolento bought my beardie in Dec as a baby and it is now three times larger than my little brother's. I have been soaking it in pedialyte for a coupleof days. It has been eating small crickets, bout 10-15 a day. It refuses greens but that will come in due time. I have it on Reptile carpet for now because its aim sux and it has eaten too much sand in the past. It has not pooped in the two days we have had it. However I know it poops because there were like ten little craps in its enclosure when I picked it up. It has been soaking on its own yet has not climbed yet. It never had a climbing stick or basking spot. Umm, i know i am rambling but i want to cover as much as I can think of. Anyway, please help me with this little guy. I have not had experience with such a fragile reptile and I want to get Spartacus healthy asap. Thanx

I am very excited, he pooped. Spartacus has been here for a week and he just took his first poop. Yeah.

Well, since you all been asking about little Spartacus.....
He has been eating a few live crickets a day. He started out eating every one I would put in there, now he eats only a few. He also eats a mix of greens dusted with a vitamin and calcium supplementand topped off with Fluker's dried crickets and sometimes a couple mealworms. He never had the correct lighting or heat until my house, nor did he have a hide or branches. He loves his little enclosure but I think he is scared of me and Rolento. He poops regularly and I never did see anything like worms. Umm, oh I have not seen him in his water dish as much. My concern is that he is not showing any signs of growth. I have had him since March 18. I am worried that I should still be soaking him in Pedialyte. Help if you can, thnx.

Do you see it drinking any or can you tell if it is? If so the soaking wont be as neccessary. Give the lil thing a chance to catch up and start growing. Now that it is eating and has the proper settings, it will begin to grow soon enough hopefully.

And about being scared of you and rolento.. I would be scared too if I had to look up and see something like Rolento coming at me hehehe..I figured it would start wagging it's tail when you came up to it... seriously though.. it will get over that with time.
