bad idea?
I bought a bearded dragon about 6 years ago as a small baby. She is now a beautiful adult. She has a bit of sandfire in her as well which gives her alot of nice red areas especially in the beard. When she was a baby her bones became very weak due to improper lighting. She broke her tail and now has a lump right at the base of the tail that has been there for most of her life. she is now in perfect health minus the use of her tail. Based on that, my question is, Is it a bad idea to breed her?

very bad idea...maybe. Can you take pics? What is the extent of her MBD and tail "lump"? There is a good chance that given these issues, becoming gravid could kill her. If you really want to raise babies, they aren't so expensive that you can't just purchase a nice healthy female...so why risk it?

yeah very good point about the risk, i wouldnt want to kill my bearded. Breeding isnt nearly as important to me as my ol bearded.

That bump is just messed up spine from the MBD. I would be afraid to breed her. Who knows what the pelvis looks like that the eggs would have to pass through?
