You can ship them---anne on this site is currently breeding roaches and she would be a great person to ask about them as feeders

crix, locusts, roaches, earthworms, silks, mealies, supers, waxes, goliath horns---so many choices...but a variety is really the best way to think in terms of feeders.
I also give weekly pinks too.
You'll find alot of info and philosophies...one thing I can say for sure is all beardie enthusiasts agree there really is no substitution for insects or worms

I just bout some super warms,. he eats them fine. am I able to keep feeding him them? because they're way cheaper then crickets, I get 50 super warms for the price of 24 crickets. I tryed to get silk warms, but the pet store manager says they're to hard to ghet ahold of for his store.

RE: Food Supplements
I know that we buy crickets for our Elvis, but I only get 1 dozen at a time about 2 times a week. Do BD need to eat live food everyday? I just know that we spend about $3 a week on crickets for Elvis, because he doesnt eat them all up in one day. There have been times when we have waited almost 2 weeks before getting more crickets. As long as there is other food available, when not just buy crickets when you think he needs them?

you see I feel supers are great as long as you feed other items...and alot of greens and fruit. Some people will say supers cause ipactions but I believe a variety is necesarry for a digestive track to run smoothly...people also feel waxes are bad because of te fat content---but again I feel that it has it's place and aids in digestion....

I feed my beardies crickets, roaches (2 kinds), superworms, waxworms and silkworms. I buy most of that online, but I breed my roaches. I agree with Nicole that there's no substitute for live food. I also do weekly pinks with my adult beardie. My beardie react noticeably to different foods, so it's well worth the extra trouble.

My little beardie did that for a little while and then got over it just as quickly. Give it a few days- mine seemed to be overwhelmed by the crickets.
