Weeeeeee, Draco just ate 3 meal worms from my boy friends hand. I am so happy. This is the first time he would let that happen I have been trying to do that forever. Draco is still a baby. But the bad thing is I want to beat Justin now because Draco choose him. But all in all I am a happy happy momma. Woot!

Thats good that he is getting used to you guys, but you really should avoid mealworms. They are very high in chitin which makes them very hard to digest and can cause impaction, killing your dragon.

In my opinion....
While mealies should not be fed as a staple--there is nothing wrong with them being part of a balanced diet. Steve and I do not agree on this---it's a famous disagreement here on RTB
Whatever you decide about mealies--please feed a variety of greens, flowers, pellets, crix and worms (so many types of worms). I also believe in feeding whole prey once in a while as well. A really varied diet will help the whole digestive track run smoother---but this is a varied thought.
Many people believe alot of different things.
What we agree on though---is GREAT lighting, varied plant matter and some protien make for a healthy dragon. The details are up to you to uncover Do your research and most of all, pay attention to anything you have learned from all species of lizards.
