Question Mega Ray 100W

Does any one know exactly how much heat a lamp will produce at an average distance of 12" from basking spot?

you should not be using these bulbs without something to measure heat.
Please invest in a digital probe or a gun to properly care for your lizard.

Yes, I understand this. Just wanted to see if the light would be able to support the temps needed or not. I use Helix controls to regulate my cages. The model is the DBS-1000. which works flawless.

So, back to the question. Will this light hit 105° temps or will I need to add another heat sorse?

Thanks again for your help Nicole,
Ed

lethargiic is on a distinguished road
it could really depend on a few things..the size of the enclosure, the circulation of air in the room and the temp in the room itself..to be sure, temp gauge it with a temp bun or a digital thermometer... its the only for sure way to know...
