I was thinking about getting a het for leucistic bearded dragon to breed to my hypomelanistic.
would it be better to just get another hypo? or would getting a het for leucistis be betta?

	Heterozygous Heterozygous - the animal carries the gene for a genetic trait but does not outwardly demonstrate the trait. Example: A boa that is het for albino looks normal but carries the albino gene. When it is bred to another het for albino boa or an albino boa, a percentage of the offspring will be albino.

	Hypomelanistic Hypomelanistic - a genetic reduction in the dark pigment Melanin.

Ok.. 1st off this isnt a post to rattle anyone cage. I have seen some post you have made about you BD and now this wanting to get into breeding.The question I have is.. Have you read up on beardies and do you know what all it involves? Take things one step at a time. The health of your breading eardies depend on the knowledge you have on them..... 	Bearded Dragon Bearded Dragon is the common name for any agamid lizard in the genus Pogona.

Oh yeah.. I dont know the different morphs of them. I guess someone else can try to answer that one for ya. I just wanted to show my concern on yurwanting to breed them. Again.. good luck in your project

	Morph A morph is a color or pattern variation that is proven to be genetic. Common morphs include albino, anerythristic, gentically striped, Hypomelanistic, and many others. Morphs also include combinations of simple traits such as "Sunglow" which is Albino and Hypomelanistic. These traits may be recessive traits, co-dominant traits, dominant traits, or created through selective breeding (ie Pastel).

yes i have read up on it and have several books, this question isnt for this year,
