Question: Could we auction OTHER items as well..?
I have a nice husband..LOL
A really nice Club Tail Iguana..LMAO.. j/k
Seriously though, I was curious if we could auction off some things on RTB and let the proceeds keep the site going..?

I don't see why not?
p.s. I just moved this so it didn't end up overtaking the other auction...

Courtney,
I didn't even think to ask about non-herp items before posting the auction for the PC. It's simply that I'm cash poor and " stuff rich" (if you can call it that). Sooooo, I hoped offering something of value to the membership would benefit RTB and Shane. Didn't want anyone to misconstrue the nature of the auction, thus the reason payment goes directly to Shane.
Since Kent gave you the go ahead, let's see what you've got to auction.

We obviously don't want to turn this Auction forum into ebay, but for stuff that is being sold to generate revenue to support the site I really don't see a problem with it. If it ever becomes an issue I'm sure we can come up with a solution.

I get the idea, and I think its a great one..all monies received MUST go directly to Shane.. I am trying to think what I have I could donate to be auctioned that anyone would want...
So far no one is biting on the hubby, iggy or kid..

I know the forums are not a democracy, BUT if we're considering rules... I heartily agree. Items offered for the purpose of helping RTB.net should have payment sent directly to Shane. That way, everyone knows that people are not selling things with the promise of helping Shane -- and then not sending the money.
