T-rex forest bed with coconut bark mixed in for looks. Stuff holds moisture well and is small enough to hopefully pass if the snake gets it in its mouth for some odd reason.

hey dack...I used the same mixture for a long long time...no complaints. it holds moisture well and doesn't tend to mildew unless you use real wood perches. I have switched to cypress too because it's much cheaper and I have a lot of snakes. I think the key to a happy arboreal cage is more with perch materials. PVC rules! wood sucks.

yeah its nice only having a few that need it, but im getting into chondros a lot now, so will prolly be getting rid of all my other snakes. Stupid green trees are an expensive hobby, but man they sure do look nice. About two years ago i posted some pictures of my neonate gtp, about 13 inches long, this is at 2 years old now
this was at about 3 months old
color change is amazing, and its hard to not buy more and more and more, heh

I agree about the pvc and wood as perches. I used wood for awhile in my gtp's cage and it was nothing but a pain. I even gave it a try in my atb's cage and decided it was not worth it. Now all my arboreal cages have pvc perches and the snakes seem to love it.
