I'm thinking about buying a JCP and just have a few questions---

1) which grow larger- the male or female?

2) If I am bitten and it breaks the skin pretty badly, should i go to the ER because of the bacteria or such?

3) Is it alright to put a baby JCP in a tank normally suited for an adult?

4) How long should i wait until I feed/hold the snake so it has time to acclimate to its enclosure?

5) Should I buy a JCP baby to tame it down or are sub-adults normally more calm even with not much handling?

>>2) If I am bitten and it breaks the skin pretty badly, should i go to the ER because of the bacteria or such? soap and water, and maybe hydrogen peroxide should be enough
>>
>>3) Is it alright to put a baby JCP in a tank normally suited for an adult? hmmmm... cant tell you there, I am usually poor on space, and only house snakes in as large an enclosure they need for their size.

>>4) How long should i wait until I feed/hold the snake so it has time to acclimate to its enclosure? about 1 week
>>
>>5) Should I buy a JCP baby to tame it down or are sub-adults normally more calm even with not much handling? that varies from snake to snake, juvies can be quite nippy.
