Enjoy. I like the oddball eye spots on this animal. Talk about being 4 eyed.

No prob Karen,
Its a Nikon coolpix 995. Set to macro highest resolution and pic size. Fully auto. Then cropped. Natural sun light filtered threw our lace shades. To much sun whites out the pic. The back ground is a white wall about 10 feet away. This gives you a black background in the pic. The shutter closes before the light can bounce back to it from the wall. Neat effect if you ask me.
You may have seen this one already.

Wow, beautiful snakes. If you don't mind, I saved those as wallpaper for my desktop as well. I had them labeled as GTPs, and then I saw the pic again and started to think twice. These are ETBs, aren't they? How much do the Coolpix 995 go for? I believe they'd form a nice-sized dent in my wallet. Again, beautiful snakes you got there.

Bry, that will set you back about $450-$600. It is a nice cam, I have look at it but will settle for a Sony Mavica-FD100($399). Reason being is 95% of my pics were taken with a model a little under this one and the pics turned out better and better each time I used it. IT's all about the light, macro and how still you keep the camera. One little bit of movement can blur your shot especially with that much focus and macro.
I just have to see those pics are probably just as good as Steve Gooch's if not better... I'm leaning more towards the latter.
If you don't mind I think I'll add them to my webshots...hehe

I believe it is a yellow phase eyelash viper. They are considered one of the "beginner" hots as they do not have a lethal bite in most cases... I would love to get one someday.
