Well I just finished a new size acrylic cage last night and introduced the new occupant. This is the first time I have tryed the Pro-Heat panel. She seems to like the enclosure and just ate tonight. Oh man I've gotta keep Matt (GHI) outta my wallet! Those cages are so cool looking! Gotta give you props on the craftsmanship... I like those curved doorways.

Great cage! The trays must be very convenient. Hehe, Matt does have some amazing animals for sale sometimes... make that ALL the time! Oh well, I see it as a better vice than some other ones I can think of. Thanks for shareing!

Is acrylic, Plexiglass? What thickness do you use? What do you use to cut and bond the walls?
Really nice cage!

Jesse, I'm not sure which is the generic term! LOL They are all plastics and I guess that the differance is minimal. Acrylic can be treated pretty much like wood, however the cutting blades need to be "finish" quality for the tablesaw and circular saw. Special drill bits and scrollsaw blades are required. Unlike wood, acrylic can be tapped for machine screws. Glue is readily available for sealing pieces together permenantly.
