How difficult is a Tree Boa?
How difficult is a Tree Boa? I have kept GTP, JCP and have numerous Boa's in my collection and was just wondering from some real owners how difficult it is? Money, Time and proper set up is not a issue I just want to be fully ready before I get one, So any tricks that are willing to be passed on would greatly be appreciated, Thanks.

Re: How difficult is a Tree Boa?
Not difficult at all, provided you start with a healthy animal. Green Tree care is the same, and the principles are no different than any other Boa.

Re: How difficult is a Tree Boa?
are you thinking like an ETB or an ATB, etc? an ETB will be pretty similar to GTP.
Overall, they arent extremely difficult to care for.

Re: How difficult is a Tree Boa?
atb arent too difficult to take care of. the etb's are a little more finiky (sp) they can stress out easier than basicly any other snake. i have a friend that has 7 of them. he always tells people if you can take care of a gtp then a etb isnt much harder to take care of at all. the main thing with them is the temps and humidity has to be spot on. pm owen.richards. he has an awesome emt and can give you some great tips. good luck!

Re: How difficult is a Tree Boa?
Sorry, ETB. I have always wanted one so I'm going to start looking. Not looking to breed, just as front room set up. What are the humidity levels? 70-80% A pic of a GTP set up that I made about 5 years back. Can you hold ETB at all? I can hold my GTP once in a while deepening on his mood.

Re: How difficult is a Tree Boa?
you CAN hold a ETB but the chances of getting tagged are very high. ive heard of a very small few that would allow very short handlings from time to time.
