Scrub Python or Coastal Carpet python
After picking up my Rock Python I am looking to end the hunt. I want one more giant to finish the collection. In you opinion what is a more interesting snake between Scrub Pythons or a Coastal Carpet. I would specify what type of Scrub but I know very few people keep them so I do not want to cut any possiable information out, my personal experience is that they are fun to look at but to touch..............
I spent part of the day helping a friend clean some Coastal Carpet Cages and they were beginning to grow on me to say the least .

Re: Scrub Python or Coastal Carpet python
i would say coastal but the kinda snakes you own are big so i would go with a scrub ive seen 14 footers but it depends on how easy you want to tame i would say coastals tame easier

Re: Scrub Python or Coastal Carpet python
I say Scrub. If you get a coastal the other snakes may tease him for being the runt of the house.
Seriously though, I haven't owned either (yet) but if I ever decided to get a large snake it would be a Scrub, so I could keep going with my morelia obsession.

Re: Scrub Python or Coastal Carpet python
For me, I would go Coastal....however for you with the snakes you already have I would say Scrub. You are used to big snakes, and attitude

Re: Scrub Python or Coastal Carpet python
This was really hard for me to answer lol I love em both so much, easily my favorite snakes. If you were to go with a scrub...i would recommend a female merauke barneck scrub....but coastals are so awsome, and your more likely to at least be able to handle them.
