Choices, choices, choices!
Hey Everyone, I really didnt know where to post this but I need some suggestions on my next snake, Ive been waiting for almost a year for this years reptile expo. In California we only get two so I always take off these days and take about a hour drive to Sacramento and San Jose. I know there are some good prices on some snakes and alot of impulse buying going on. Ive always told my self that I will get a ETB or GTP one year. So I think that this is going to the the year! I love the look of both of these snakes but still havent decided on which one. I also know there different types. Which ones are the best looking? Can you guys help me out! Maybe with pics and other info that I might not know about these guys?
Also I was wondering if I get a baby what is the easiest way to house? Does anyone have pics of there tanks? I know some people have used rubbermaid for these...
Thanks in advance.

Re: Choices, choices, choices!
There is some info about housing ETBs at our website (link in sig). I'm not sure about GTPs but most emerald babies won't start showing up until later in the year. Be careful, there are quite a few "farmed" imports that have questionable quality.

I'm not sure about GTPs having diamonds, but the majority of emeralds don't either. The ones you saw the diamonds on are Amazon Basin ETBs (basins for short). Northern ETBs are what most people think of when ETB is mentioned. To my knowledge, basins can nolonger be imported to the US, so it is now limited to what keepers already have or produce. This may or may not cause a rise in already expensive snakes.
