Some of you know my Coastals have been gettin' it on over the last few weeks, here's some pics! Copulations have been occuring at least one time weekly for the last 3 weeks. [EDITED to add dates of copulation: 1st observed on Sep 9th at 8:00 PM, Sep 18th at 8:30 AM, Sep 24th at 10:00 AM, and last observed was on Oct 1st 1:00 AM] Because I work at night, I'm hardly ever home to see what they do at night, lol, so I'm sure there are a lot of copulations I don't see. Both are 100% Morelia Spilota Mcdowelli [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img] .

Thanks Gizmo! I especially like the male's patten. He's got a big stripe that goes all the way down both of his sides, very nice looking. I'm hoping at least one or two of the babies come out with same stripes. I'll let everyone know for sure! Both snakes are just under 3 years old, so they've actully just matured. They were my first carpets, and let me tell you for anyone that hasn't been around them much Carpets rule!! Both are exteemly docile, they get a lot of attention and handling from me. The male's name is Don Corleone (from the god father. The heat pits make them look ,to me, like a gangster with a fat ci-gar in the corner of his mouth, lol) The female's is Dr. Oviparous (meaning Dr. egg laying animal, hehe). Doe anyone else have as much fum naming their animals as me?
