And I appreciate the comments from everybody. I use a Panasonic DMC-FZ3 digital with various filters and all that stuff. I was a bit skeptical of buying a Panasonic camera (I tend to think of TVs and stuff like that with Panasonic, not cameras), but I passed up all the Nikons and Canons and couldn't be happier. I don't want to sound like a spokesman for Panasonic or something, but it's got a lot of great features. 12x optical zoom (and 4x digital, which I don't use) really comes in handy for wildlife shots. It's only a 3.2mp camera, but it works for me. I have no reason to print anything bigger than an 8x10 anyway, and I've been published internationally and sold quite a few larger prints from my webpage, so it seems to work for other people too I guess!
