Help Bad Shed

My male atb has had good sheds for his whole life.........until now. I've been soaking him for about a hour and the skin was loose but i'm having trouble with the skin on his chin. The avg humidity is inbetween 55-65%, and the temps are 87-89 and i don't know what happened wrong or why. So any help would be greatly apprciated.

Glad it worked out. You gonna try to up the average humidity a bit? I've not kept an atb so can't speak specifically to them, just in general a bad shed is usually humidity related. Are you sure your hygrometer is accurate?

Thats the wierd thing wreckwriter, i've had 2 hydrometers in the cages and they say within 2% of eachother all the time so i'm gonna raise it and see what happens next time. It's also woerd because he has never had a bad shed within the last year and a half i've had him, niether has the female. But they were rescues so i don't know if its a thing that will reoccur or not. When i got them they each had roughly 2-3 layers of skin on their bodies and they were a little skinny. You don't even know how hard it is to get off 3 layers of skin that have been on the body for more than a year so i hope things will turn out good and thx for the advise.
